Ahmed Salama Suleiman, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Serbia, presented his credentials to Aleksandar Vučić, President of the Republic of Serbia, during an official ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Belgrade, which included an honor guard review and the playing of the Egyptian national anthem.
Following the ceremony, the Egyptian ambassador held a bilateral meeting with the Serbian president, conveying greetings from President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to the Serbian president and wishing the friendly government and people of Serbia further progress and prosperity. The meeting also discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
President Vučić praised the comprehensive development and progress Egypt has witnessed under the leadership of the President, affirming that Egypt is a pivotal and strategic partner for Serbia and is highly respected and valued by the Serbian people given the historical relations between the two countries.
The Egyptian ambassador expressed pride in representing his country in Belgrade, emphasizing his commitment to building on the achievements in the Egyptian-Serbian relations and working to expand cooperation prospects in various fields.
He also stressed his dedication to strengthening communication between the two friendly peoples in a way that serves their common interests and reflects the deep historical ties between the two countries.
