Qatar, which is mediating between Israel and Hamas to end the two-year-long war in the Gaza Strip, confirmed that both parties have agreed on all terms of the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s plan to stop the conflict in the Palestinian territory.
In a post on the “X” platform, Majid Al-Ansari, spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said: “The mediators announce that tonight an agreement was reached on all terms and mechanisms for implementing the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, which will lead to stopping the war, releasing Israeli detainees and Palestinian prisoners, and allowing aid to enter. Details will be announced later.”
