Major General Dr. Abdel Fattah Siraj, Governor of Sohag, announced that the local unit of the Sohag Center and City, headed by Dr. Farida Salam, held a meeting to discuss the crisis management project for Sohag Governorate.

The meeting was attended by heads of cities, centers, neighborhoods, directors of service and utility directorates, Islamic and Christian religious leaders, and Eman Ali Imam, director of the Sohag Media Complex.

The meeting reviewed the procedures and risks planned to be implemented during the training, which aims to enhance the governorate’s readiness to deal with crises, emergencies, and disasters through coordination between executive and security bodies, with clear definition of roles and responsibilities for each party, as well as the readiness of equipment in local units, neighborhoods, and cities to face any crises or disasters to ensure proper management of any potential crisis.

A practical drill was conducted to evacuate the building of the local unit of Sohag Center and City, and the drill was successful and carried out with distinction.
