Samanoud Technological University organized a grand celebration today to welcome its new students for the new academic year, amid an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm, attended by university leaders, faculty members, and students.

The ceremony began with the national anthem and recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Dr. Walid Raslan, the Dean of the College, welcomed the new students, emphasizing that the university represents a second home for them, where they will find full support and care to develop their abilities and refine their talents. He explained that the university’s academic programs are designed to meet the needs of the local and international labor markets, opening wide horizons of future opportunities for graduates.

Dr. Montaser Dowidar, the university president, expressed his sincere appreciation for President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the founder of the New Republic, praising his wisdom in leading the nation in an environment full of risks and challenges.

He explained that the Egyptian state seeks to invest in human resources through education by establishing dozens of universities that play their enlightening role and build the Egyptian personality to be capable of carrying the flag, armed with knowledge and skills.

He also expressed the joining of a new elite of students to the university family, pointing out that Samanoud Technological University aims to be a pioneering model in applied and technological education, betting on its students to be leaders of change and makers of the future. He confirmed that the university will spare no effort in providing the latest advances in education and scientific research, while providing a comprehensive university environment that develops values and skills.

The university president praised the role of the Egyptian government and the Ministry of Higher Education for their tremendous efforts in building technological universities and supporting the path of higher and technological education, praying to God to protect Egypt’s leadership and people and to perpetuate the blessing of security and stability so that its flag remains flying among nations.

He also made a special message to parents, affirming, “Your children are a trust in our necks; they are in our eyes and care from the first day until their graduation, and we will be a support and aid to them in their educational and life journey.”

The ceremony concluded with an inspiring message to the students, in which the university president urged them to make their years of study a journey of seeking knowledge and creativity, keeping in mind the goal of serving and elevating the nation.

This celebration came as part of Samanoud Technological University’s commitment to the ancient university traditions and enhancing academic and human values, consistent with the Egyptian state’s vision of building humans and shaping the future under the New Republic.
