Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the “Trump Road for International Peace and Prosperity” project is being discussed with the United States.

In a press conference in Strasbourg, responding to a question about whether the European Union could participate in the project, Pashinyan said that the involvement of any third party may require the approval of both Armenia and the United States.

He explained that any third party agreed upon by Armenia and the United States can participate in the project, emphasizing that the European Union is a trusted partner for Armenia, according to the official Armenian news agency “Armenpress”.

It is worth noting that on August 8, following a trilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a joint declaration on peaceful settlement between Baku and Yerevan and the establishment of a transport corridor between the two South Caucasus republics named the “Trump Road for International Peace and Prosperity.”
