The price of iron in Egypt stabilized today, Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in the markets amid expectations of slight price movements, as prices remained at the same levels recorded during the past two months.

Ahmed El-Zeiny, Head of the Building Materials Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, confirmed the stability of iron prices today among companies and distributors after the recent increase, with iron selling prices among distributors ranging from 39,200 to about 40,000 Egyptian pounds.

Markets are awaiting the determination of the new price for a ton of iron this month. The price of a ton of iron today in Egypt ranged between 38,000 to 38,500 EGP at the factory price, reaching the consumer with an increase of about 1,000 EGP per ton depending on the governorate or the type of iron companies, reaching about 40,000 EGP.

Iron prices are as follows:

• Ez Iron Price: 38,800 EGP.
• Beshay Iron Price: 38,600 EGP.

The iron price ranged from 38,200 to 38,500 EGP per ton delivered at the factory gate for most types.

Iron is one of the most important raw materials used in building materials, as many rely on it in their construction projects.

With an average price of about 38,200 EGP per ton, it reaches more than 40,000 EGP at some distributors in some governorates of the republic, based on the monthly price, the fixed price for this month, the type of factory and company, and the geographical distribution areas across the various governorates of the republic.
