Ambassador Tammam Khallaf, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the Foreign Minister’s speech before the United Nations General Assembly included many issues, foremost among them Gaza. He pointed out that Dr. Badr Abdel Aati, the Foreign Minister, emphasized the necessity of a ceasefire in Gaza and the delivery of aid.
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson added in a phone interview on Monday morning with Extra News channel that Egyptian diplomacy has been active in pushing many countries to recognize the Palestinian state.
