The Times of Israel revealed key features of the peace plan proposed by US President Donald Trump to end the war in Gaza, described as the most detailed since the recent clashes began.

The plan calls for an immediate ceasefire and a gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip in exchange for the release of Palestinian and Israeli hostages, with a transitional Palestinian technocratic government managing Gaza under international supervision.

The plan excludes Hamas from any future political role, offering a general amnesty to members willing to live peacefully and providing a safe passage for those choosing to leave the Strip.

It also calls for a wide flow of humanitarian aid and a comprehensive reconstruction process supervised by the United Nations and the Red Crescent, alongside the establishment of a new economic zone to attract investments and create jobs.

The plan includes deploying an international stabilization force to oversee security and train a local Palestinian police force, with Israel pledging not to occupy or annex Gaza and gradually handing over land to replacement forces.

The document also emphasizes Qatar’s role as a mediator, obliging Israel not to target it, while opening the door for political dialogue that could eventually lead to the establishment of a Palestinian state without a set timeline.
