Manama, September 29 /BNA/ His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the esteemed King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, issued Decree No. (61) of 2025 to restructure the General Organization for Social Insurance, based on the presentation of the Minister of Finance and National Economy and after the approval of the Cabinet, stating:
Article One
The General Organization for Social Insurance shall be restructured as follows:
Board of Directors, followed by:
Chief Executive Officer, followed by:
First: Actuarial Studies and Risks Department.
Second: Legal Affairs and Inspection Department.
Third: Communication and Awareness Department.
Fourth: Deputy CEO for Insurance Affairs (with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary), followed by:
1- Registration and Subscriptions Department.
2- Insured Services Department.
Fifth: Deputy CEO for Operations Affairs (with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary), followed by:
1- Financial Operations Department.
2- Resources and Services Department.
3- Insurance Information Department.
Sixth: Deputy CEO for Retirees Affairs (with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary), followed by:
1- Entitlements and Retirees Pensions Department.
2- Retirees Services Department.
Article Two
Decree No. (79) of 2019 organizing the General Organization for Social Insurance is hereby repealed.
Article Three
The Minister of Finance and National Economy shall implement this decree, which shall come into effect from the date of issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
