Vatican City, September 29 / BNA / His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, affirmed the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Vatican City State, emphasizing the importance of continuing to strengthen and develop them to open wider horizons for joint cooperation. His Highness referred to Bahrain’s approach based on the values of tolerance, coexistence, peace, and human brotherhood established by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the esteemed King of Bahrain, may God protect and preserve him.

This came during His Highness’s meeting today, attended by His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and a number of senior officials, with His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of the Vatican City State, as part of His Highness’s official visit to the Vatican City State and the Italian Republic. His Highness confirmed the continuation of developing work paths and joint coordination between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Vatican City State in various fields, contributing to consolidating the concepts of coexistence and enhancing global peace and stability.

His Highness also pointed out that the Kingdom of Bahrain, with its civilizational components and rich history of close relations with brotherly and friendly countries, has been able to build bridges of communication and cooperation that have contributed to advancing development and growth on various levels.
