The General Authority for Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring, affiliated with the Ministry of Transport, predicted that today’s weather, Tuesday, will be clear gradually turning dusty.

A statement received by (Azzaman) yesterday said that today’s weather will be clear with active winds causing dust to rise. Temperatures are recorded as follows: Baghdad, Diyala, and Babil at 39°C; Duhok and Erbil at 34°C; Sulaymaniyah at 32°C; Kirkuk and Nineveh at 37°C; Salah al-Din and Anbar at 38°C; Karbala, Wasit, Najaf, and Diwaniyah at 40°C; Dhi Qar, Muthanna, and Basra at 41°C; and Maysan at 42°C.

The statement also indicated that the weather on Wednesday will be clear across all regions of the country.

Tropical cyclone Bualoi claimed the lives of 24 people in the Philippines and caused at least 11 deaths in Vietnam, where it recently moved. After hitting the Philippines at the end of last week, it reached Vietnam yesterday, accompanied by winds reaching speeds of 130 kilometers per hour. The cyclone’s intensity decreased as it moved towards neighboring Laos.
