The General Division for Digital Economy and Technology at the Egyptian Federation of Chambers of Commerce has begun contacting member companies to send official invitations to participate in the Bharat Telecom Expo 2025, scheduled to be held from October 8 to 11 at the “Yasobhoomi” center in New Delhi, India.
The expo is organized by the Telecom Equipment and Services Export Promotion Council (TEPC), supported by the Indian government’s Ministry of Communications, coinciding with the Indian Mobile Communications Conference. The event serves as a strategic platform bringing together leading telecom equipment manufacturers and providers of ICT solutions and applications in India with international buyers and investors through B2B meetings, aiming to establish long-term partnerships and commercial deals.
The expo program includes specialized sessions within the Indian Mobile Communications Conference, in addition to a main pavilion showcasing the latest innovations in the telecommunications and IT sector.
Organizers offer participants special support benefits including free accommodation for three nights and reimbursement of $510 for travel tickets on the last day of the expo, enhancing the opportunities for Egyptian companies to participate and benefit from this international event.
Commenting on this participation, Eng. Khalil Hassan Khalil, head of the General Division for Digital Economy and Technology at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, said that the division’s participation in Bharat Telecom Expo 2025 aims to empower its members to expand internationally and open new horizons for their technological products and services in global markets, especially in exports.
He confirmed that this step aligns with the strategy of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, aimed at supporting Egyptian companies and enhancing their competitive capabilities.
The expo aims to showcase the capabilities of Indian companies in manufacturing telecom equipment, software, IT services, digital infrastructure, and other related technologies. It also serves as a platform for international buyers to meet Indian suppliers to make B2B deals. The expo reflects India’s strategy to enhance the “local telecom industry,” making it a global hub for manufacturing telecom equipment and providing technology solutions, attracting foreign investments, boosting Indian telecom exports, opening new markets for Indian companies, and promoting international cooperation in innovation and technology, given the presence of many international participants and experts.
