Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, along with his entourage, inspected the Citizens’ Services Complex “Technological Center” in Shamma Village, Ashmoun District, which is part of the presidential initiative projects “Decent Life”, during his visit today to Menoufia Governorate to review several developmental and service projects.
During the inspection, Major General Ibrahim Abou Lemon, Governor of Menoufia, confirmed that the Citizens’ Services Complex is one of the most prominent projects of the “Decent Life” presidential initiative, which contributed to a qualitative leap through comprehensive and sustainable development of infrastructure and services provided to citizens, based on a main goal of improving citizens’ quality of life and maximizing their benefit from various government services effortlessly.
He explained that he continuously monitors the workflow and regularity at the Citizens’ Services Complex in Shamma Village, which contributes to providing the best services to citizens, pointing out his keenness to regularly know citizens’ opinions about the quality of services provided to them, aiming for continuous work to raise the service level.
The Prime Minister listened to an explanation from Dr. Walaa Said, the complex’s director, who indicated that the Citizens’ Services Complex in the village has been fully completed and has been operating at full capacity for two months. It is built on an area of 690 square meters and serves about 84,000 citizens.
She added that the complex includes all the targeted services to be provided to the villagers, with many services already operating in the complex, including local unit services, social solidarity, supply, post office, real estate registration, and civil registry services. She pointed out that the post office in the service complex provides, in addition to financial and postal services, many government services to the residents, including civil status, traffic prosecution, government transfers, pension disbursement, school fee payments, bill collection, disbursement of subsidies, and payment of salaries and entitlements of state employees. The various services of the complex save time and effort for the villagers and enable them to complete various procedures.
At the end of the inspection, the Prime Minister emphasized the necessity of monitoring the level of services provided by the complex staff and ensuring that citizens’ requirements are met and procedures are facilitated, in line with the goals of the “Decent Life” presidential initiative.
