His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Royal Bahrain Equestrian and Endurance Federation, met with His Excellency Engineer Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs, to discuss ways of joint cooperation between the Federation and the Ministry to enhance efforts in supporting and developing equestrian sports and endurance races, and to strengthen the infrastructure of this sport, contributing to raising its level and achieving more successes on various levels.

The meeting between His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and the Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs also addressed a number of future initiatives and projects that contribute to supporting the equestrian and endurance racing journey, and preparing a suitable environment for riders and national cadres, enhancing the status of the Kingdom of Bahrain regionally and internationally.

His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa affirmed that this cooperation reflects the visions and aspirations of the wise leadership and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Honorary President of the Royal Bahrain Equestrian and Endurance Federation, to advance equestrian sports and endurance races.

He said: “We place great importance on the integration of efforts with various official entities to move forward in developing equestrian sports and endurance races, which represent part of Bahrain’s national identity. We seek to launch initiatives that achieve sustainability and serve aspirations that will raise the level of this sport and push it towards achieving more civilizational achievements, enhancing the prestigious position of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the global sports map.”

For his part, His Excellency Engineer Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs, praised the efforts exerted by the Royal Bahrain Equestrian and Endurance Federation headed by His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, affirming the Ministry’s commitment to supporting this noble sport.

He said: “At the Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs, we are keen to strengthen cooperation with the Royal Bahrain Equestrian and Endurance Federation, contributing to the development of fields and facilities related to equestrian sports and maintaining their sustainability, in line with the Kingdom’s vision towards development and excellence in various fields.”
