After inspecting several projects in Shamma village in Ashmoun center, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and his entourage headed to Sebk Al-Ahad village to inspect more projects, starting with the Family and Child Development Center, which is part of the presidential initiative “Decent Life” projects.
This comes during the Prime Minister’s field tour today to inspect several developmental and service projects in Menoufia Governorate and follow up on their progress.
During the inspection, Major General Ibrahim Abu Lemon, Governor of Menoufia, confirmed that within the framework of the joint cooperation protocol between the National Alliance for Community Development, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, and the Ministry of Social Solidarity to support 3 centers for the Decent Life Foundation in Menoufia Governorate, the Family and Child Development Center in Sebk Al-Ahad was launched to provide many services related to family and children.
Abu Lemon stated that the center aims to provide comprehensive educational, social, and economic services in the village, contributing to improving citizens’ quality of life and achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030 from the heart of Egyptian villages.
The Prime Minister listened to an explanation from Dr. Amal Ghoneim, Director of the Family and Child Development Center, who clarified that the center includes 6 classrooms; divided into 3 nursery classes for children aged 2 to 4 years, and 3 kindergarten classes for children aged 4 to 6 years.
She added that the center includes many services such as speech therapy, skills development, family awareness seminars, digital literacy seminars, economic empowerment, and entrepreneurship through theoretical and practical training workshops.
Ghoneim also pointed out that the center is established on an area of 1570 square meters, with a building area of 1238 square meters, including a recreational play area for children.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister inspected all components of the center, especially the speech therapy classrooms, nursery classes, and economic empowerment workshops, which included a number of trainees being trained in carpet making. The center director confirmed during the visit that these workshops include a theoretical part followed by a practical part on how to start a project and prepare feasibility studies.
Madbouly also inspected a workshop for volunteers in the “Decent Life” presidential initiative aimed at teaching the basics and principles of volunteer work.
At the end of the inspection, the Prime Minister praised the progress of work at the center and directed the importance of diversifying activities to enhance creativity and innovation among families and children, as well as paying attention to various activities needed by children in early age stages.
