Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, and his accompanying delegation inspected today the construction works of the new Egyptian-Japanese school in Shebin El Kom, Monufia Governorate.

The Prime Minister reiterated the commitment to expanding the establishment of more Egyptian-Japanese schools across the country, considering the distinguished educational experience they provide, which helps students acquire more skills and knowledge offered by these schools.

During the inspection, Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education, highlighted the ministry’s efforts to expand the number of Egyptian-Japanese schools, as well as the cooperation and coordination with the Japanese side to participate in managing and operating this distinguished type of schools nationwide.

He pointed out that a group of specialized Japanese experts recently arrived in Egypt to participate in managing and operating the Egyptian-Japanese schools, in implementation of presidential directives, ensuring the highest quality standards in applying the distinguished Japanese educational model inside these schools.

Major General Ibrahim Abu Lemon, Governor of Monufia, noted during the tour that the governorate currently has two Egyptian-Japanese schools: the first in Shebin El Kom with 14 classrooms, and the second in Quesna with 22 classrooms. The construction of the new third school in Shebin El Kom, which is planned to have 14 classrooms on an area of 4600 square meters, is nearing completion.
