The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the Astana International Exchange announced the implementation of a direct link between their securities depository centers.
This comes within the framework of a memorandum of understanding signed between the two parties in October 2021, which resulted in the exchange joining the Tabadul platform, according to a statement issued yesterday. The initiative complements the existing connection between the two markets via the Tabadul platform and reflects the growing partnership between Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and Astana Exchange.
The CEO of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange Group, Abdullah Salem Al Nuaimi, said that establishing the direct link is an important step towards making financial markets more open and interconnected.
