The Muslim World League strongly condemned the extremist hostile statements made by a minister in the Israeli occupation government regarding the annexation of the West Bank and threats against the Palestinian Authority. This continues the occupation government’s arrogance and disregard for international legitimacy, undermining all chances for ending the war and establishing peace.

In a statement from the League’s General Secretariat, His Excellency the Secretary-General and President of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, denounced the Israeli occupation government’s persistent policy of disregarding the lives of the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights. He reaffirmed the justice of the Palestinian cause and the historical and legal right of the Palestinian people to their land, calling on the international community to take sincere and serious action to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities to end the humanitarian tragedy faced by the Palestinian people and support their legitimate right to self-determination and the establishment of their state.
