Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman renewed the Kingdom’s call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
The two sides reviewed the developments in the region, including the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, and efforts to end the humanitarian disaster in Gaza.
With American support, Israel has been committing a genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including killing, starving, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.
The genocide has resulted in 63,633 Palestinian deaths, 160,914 injuries, mostly children and women, more than 9,000 missing persons, and hundreds of thousands displaced.
Bin Salman reiterated the Kingdom’s stance calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the necessity of achieving a just, safe, and comprehensive peace in the Middle East, condemning any measures that undermine the two-state solution.
Since the start of its genocidal war on Gaza, Israel has intensified committing crimes in the occupied West Bank, including demolishing homes, displacing Palestinian citizens, and confiscating their lands.
Annexation of the occupied West Bank by Israel would eliminate the possibility of establishing an independent Palestinian state, implementing the two-state solution principle as stipulated by United Nations resolutions.
