Cairo, September 3 /BNA/ His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, affirmed that the relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt is a strong strategic partnership and a solid fraternal bond based on a long history of brotherhood and close cooperation. This relationship continues to grow and prosper on all levels under the care and attention of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and his brother, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, aiming to achieve shared visions and aspirations that benefit both countries and peoples.

This came during His Royal Highness’s meeting with his brother, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as part of the official visit to the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt. The Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to President El-Sisi and His Majesty’s wishes for further progress and prosperity for Egypt. In return, President El-Sisi sent his greetings to His Majesty the King and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued growth and advancement.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness praised the progress and growth witnessed in Bahraini-Egyptian relations across various fields, thanks to the joint agreements and effective partnerships between the two countries. He stressed the importance of building on these achievements to continue advancing bilateral relations to higher levels and promising opportunities that fulfill shared aspirations and goals.

The Crown Prince highlighted Egypt’s pivotal role in consolidating the pillars of security and stability in the region, supporting the Arab joint action, Arab causes, and its honorable stances towards Bahrain. He commended Egypt’s ongoing developmental achievements under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, expressing his wishes for Egypt and its brotherly people continued prosperity and elevation.

He also pointed out the importance of the agreements and declarations to be signed during this visit, which will open new horizons for bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries and strengthen their solid partnership, propelling it towards more advanced prospects.

The meeting also reviewed ways to develop bilateral cooperation and coordination between the two countries, discussed the latest regional and international developments, and topics of mutual interest, with an emphasis on joint support for all efforts aimed at enhancing international peace and stability.
