Two Palestinians were injured and 10 others arrested during Israeli occupation forces’ raids today in various areas of the West Bank.
According to Wafa Agency, the occupation forces launched a dawn campaign of raids and arrests that included Jericho city, Beit Ummar town north of Hebron, Safa village west of Ramallah, Qalqilya city and the villages of Jius and Asla east of the city, Bal’a town east of Tulkarm, Beit Jala west of Bethlehem, and Qabatiya town south of Jenin. They raided Palestinian homes, ransacked their contents, and attacked residents with live bullets and toxic gas bombs, resulting in two Palestinians being injured and 10 others arrested.
In this context, occupation bulldozers demolished two houses in Al-Khader town south of Bethlehem amid Palestinian fears of more demolitions of homes and shops.
Additionally, Israeli settlers, protected by occupation forces, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and carried out provocative tours.
This comes amid escalating violations by the occupation and its settlers against Palestinians, with 57 demolition operations targeting more than 120 Palestinian homes and facilities in the West Bank over the past month, according to the Settlement Resistance Commission.
