Manama, September 3 /BNA/ His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, praised the high-level results of the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt. This visit reflects keenness to develop the historical friendship relations between the two brotherly countries and to enhance all aspects of bilateral cooperation and strategic partnership.

His Excellency pointed to the importance of the visit in consolidating the close ties between the two countries and peoples, and strengthening partnership and coordination in various fields, under the care and attention of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the esteemed King of Bahrain, may God protect and preserve him, and his brother His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt.

His Excellency confirmed that the meeting of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister with His Excellency the Egyptian President and His Excellency Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the review of vital topics and files, as well as the praise for the common agreements and effective partnerships between the two brotherly countries, represent a prominent vital station to continue joint cooperation and to advance bilateral relations towards achieving the desired aspirations and goals.

The Speaker of the Council of Representatives also highlighted the Bahraini and Egyptian stance towards consolidating the pillars of security and stability in the region, supporting the Arab joint action march, enhancing international peace and stability efforts, and affirming the firm position of the two brotherly countries in support of the Palestinian cause.

He expressed his deep appreciation for the progress and development witnessed in Bahraini-Egyptian relations, especially in the economic and investment fields, and the joint keenness to create more future opportunities and enhance the role of the private sector, which forms a fundamental pillar in consolidating fruitful cooperation through bilateral initiatives and projects that contribute to diversifying sources of economic growth, benefiting both countries and peoples.

The Speaker added that holding the Egyptian-Bahraini Business Forum during the official visit represents a highly important milestone in enhancing joint economic relations, opening wider horizons for cooperation and investment opportunities, and embodying a true partnership between private sector institutions in the two brotherly countries.

He confirmed parliamentary support from both the Bahraini and Egyptian Councils of Representatives to enhance the development of bilateral cooperation and to follow up on the implementation of joint programs in the legislative parliamentary field and in all developmental fields, especially the economic and investment sectors.
