Manama, September 3 /BNA/ – During the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt regarding cooperation in social fields. It was signed on the Bahraini side by His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and on the Egyptian side by His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance.
On this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, affirmed the deep historical fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt, noting the joint keenness to develop bilateral cooperation to support the development journey in both countries and enhance strategic partnership opportunities in various social and developmental fields.
The Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Social Development and the Ministry of Social Solidarity in the Arab Republic of Egypt aims to strengthen the frameworks of cooperation and joint work between the two brotherly countries in various social affairs, and to expand the exchange of expertise and experiences, contributing to supporting the progress journey and achieving comprehensive development for the benefit and prosperity of the peoples and the two brotherly countries.
