Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that it is the responsibility of the entire world to make the United Nations a platform representing global justice in confronting the injustices faced by the Palestinian people.
He explained that from the Turkish perspective, the platform embodying this concept should be the United Nations, which he said is in urgent need of serious reform to be able to fulfill its assigned tasks.
Erdogan stressed the global responsibility to make the UN a platform for justice against the injustices suffered by the Palestinian people.
He called on the international community to deeply reconsider its inability to prevent the killing of more than 63,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and its failure to stop the innocent from dying of hunger.
Regarding Syria, President Erdogan pointed out that doors have opened to a new phase in Syria, offering historic opportunities to establish lasting peace and regional stability.
He affirmed that Turkey’s support for Syria’s revival while preserving its territorial integrity and political unity serves the interests of the entire region.
Erdogan stressed that Turkey will continue to stand against any attempt that threatens the security and safety of its neighboring country, Syria.
In another context, Erdogan noted that Turkey’s vision is based on solving problems through dialogue, diplomacy, and cooperation on the basis of respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries.
The Turkish president praised the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, describing it as “an important platform for enhancing energy security and developing partnerships in strategic infrastructure projects.”
He expressed hope to strengthen Turkey’s cooperation with the organization, which he said today represents the concept of finding joint solutions to problems.
Erdogan emphasized the importance and status of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, especially during a period of declining global predictability and increasing challenges.
