The statement said: “A short while ago, a drone launched from Yemen was intercepted before entering Israeli territory.”

The statement noted that “no sirens were sounded according to the security protocol.”

Channel 13 Israeli reported: “The army intercepted a drone launched from Yemen in the Sinai region before it penetrated Israeli airspace.”

This comes days after the Yemeni Presidency in Sanaa announced the killing of the Prime Minister of the “Change and Construction Government,” Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, and several ministers in Israeli airstrikes targeting a government workshop.

A source close to the Houthis announced the death of Information Minister Hashem Sharafuddin, while other sources reported that Foreign Minister Jamal Amer and Social Affairs Minister Samir Bajala were also killed.

Several other ministers were injured with moderate to severe wounds and are currently receiving medical care.

The group indicated that the administration of institutions will continue, appointing Mohammed Ahmed Maftah as acting head of government. It emphasized that it remains engaged in confrontation with Israel in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
