In5 business incubator, part of the TECOM Group, announced that the total funding raised by startups within its ecosystem has exceeded AED 9 billion since its inception, marking an achievement that strengthens Dubai’s position as a global hub for entrepreneurship and innovation.

This announcement was made during the 10th edition of the “Expand North Star 2025” exhibition held at Dubai Harbour from October 12 to 15, where startups recorded a 14% growth in total funding compared to October 2024.

Majid Al Suwaidi, First Vice Chairman of TECOM Group, said, “This achievement reflects the incubator’s leading role in empowering entrepreneurs and accelerating the growth of their projects, in line with the goals of Dubai’s Economic Agenda (D33).” He explained that the in5 incubator includes more than 1,100 startups since its establishment in 2013 across technology, media, design, and science sectors, and regularly organizes events to provide training, mentoring, and expand investor networks.

The in5 Technology incubator is located in Dubai Internet City, while the in5 Media and in5 Design incubators are located in Dubai Production City and Dubai Design District, respectively.

The in5 Science incubator, launched in cooperation with Dubai Science Park, provides an innovative platform supporting the growth of visionary startups in the science fields.

In the first half of 2025, in5 witnessed notable activity, continuing to enhance its infrastructure supporting innovators and companies. During this period, in5 organized 94 events for startups, offering guidance, advice, training, and workshops aimed at strengthening networking.

As part of its participation in the “Expand North Star 2025” exhibition, in5 highlighted startups such as “Bill Boy,” a company providing an AI-based platform offering software as a service; “Jeans,” a company offering funding opportunities to individual and corporate investors; and the software company “My Gate Pass,” which is revolutionizing visitor management systems through full integration with the “UAE Pass” application.
