Foreign ministers of Qatar, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt welcomed “the leadership role of the US President and his sincere efforts aimed at ending the war in Gaza and intensifying efforts to find a path to peace.”
The ministers emphasized in a joint statement “the importance of partnership with the United States in consolidating peace in the region,” and welcomed “President Trump’s announcement of his proposal which includes ending the war, rebuilding Gaza, preventing the displacement of the Palestinian people, advancing comprehensive peace, and his declaration that he will not allow the annexation of the West Bank.”
The ministers confirmed “their readiness to cooperate positively and constructively with the United States and relevant parties to ensure the success of the agreement and its implementation.”
