The Abu Dhabi Department of Community Development emphasized that maintaining the validity of the “Benefits and Privileges” card from “Medim” requires completing the premarital preparation program sessions fully within the specified timeframe, avoiding frequent postponements, and receiving a certificate of program completion after finishing all sessions.

The department explained that the “Benefits and Privileges” program from Medim is a discount program dedicated to couples enrolled in the premarital preparation program offered by the “Medim Family Preparation Center.” It is designed to enhance family life quality and achieve social stability in Abu Dhabi. The program includes exceptional packages of exclusive offers and discounts provided in cooperation with more than 30 partners from both government and private sectors. Couples receive the “Medim Benefits and Discounts” card immediately after completing the first session of the preparation program.

It was stated: “The Benefits and Privileges program from Medim provides a benefits and discounts card in cooperation with the Fazaa program, including many packages, offers, and discounts covering a wide range of fields and services, such as hotels, real estate, wedding services, furniture stores, jewelry, travel, tourism, and others, aiming to support Abu Dhabi citizens preparing for marriage on their journey toward building happy and stable families that contribute to community development and prosperity.”

The department pointed out that the list of partners in the “Benefits and Privileges” program from Medim includes more than 30 partners such as airlines, hotels, furniture stores, and others who provide special and exclusive offers to beneficiaries of Medim initiative services. The card’s benefits also include exclusive offers on wedding expenses such as halls, stages, musical bands, photography, lighting, sound, wall and table decorations, flowers, bridal gowns, as well as more than 22,000 food and consumer products from Fazaa stores and over 24,000 commercial outlets, and discounts on medical services not covered by insurance starting at 40%.

The department highlighted that the Medim premarital preparation program is held at the Medim Family Preparation Center. It is a comprehensive 13-hour program aimed at building a strong foundation for a stable marriage.

The program consists of two main guidance sessions followed by six training sessions covering essential topics such as family formation stages, positive perspectives on marriage, shared goals in married life, managing marital health, emotional intelligence, effective communication, family planning, financial management, and achieving marital happiness.

The program is delivered by a select group of family consultants, marriage relationship experts, psychologists, and certified trainers.
