Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef began an official visit to the United States, leading a high-level delegation from the industrial and mining sectors. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral economic ties, develop strategic partnerships in the industrial and mining sectors, and explore cooperation and investment opportunities in mining and priority industries such as manufacturing, automotive, aviation, medical devices, and food. The visit continues until August 28, 2025, during which Al-Khorayef will meet senior US government officials and private sector leaders from prominent industrial and mining companies. Saudi investments in the US are estimated at approximately $770 billion, with the Saudi Public Investment Fund’s investments representing 40% of its global portfolio in America. Recently, the Saudi-American Investment Forum in Riyadh witnessed bilateral agreements exceeding $600 billion across vital sectors including mining, energy, defense, and advanced technologies.
This official visit aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 goals to transform the Kingdom into a leading industrial power and a global mining hub by deepening international partnerships, attracting quality investments, and transferring knowledge, technology, and innovation to Saudi Arabia.
