Forecasts indicate that the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) market in Saudi Arabia will reach $5.33 billion by 2030. This growth will accelerate Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries’ emergence as the largest event hosting regions, supported by major tourism programs, extensive air travel connectivity, and increasing demand for Saudi Arabia as a platform for global trade and innovation.

The meetings and exhibitions market in the Kingdom is rapidly expanding, driven by increased investment in large event halls, infrastructure development, and accelerating international partnerships. The 2025 Travel Trends report noted this coincides with a continuous rise in executive travel across the Middle East. It added that global executive travel spending in the Middle East will grow from 2.5% in 2024 to over 3% by 2030. The expansion of the events and conferences industry is not limited to local Gulf markets, especially Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar; these countries have also become major investors in conferences and exhibitions abroad. Saudi Arabia, in particular, attracts a large number of conferences and exhibitions with significant impact on global economic activities.
