The Dubai Land Department organized the third edition of the “Real Estate Day for Employing Emiratis,” following the success of the previous two editions and the employment of more than 2,071 citizens since the initiative launched in June 2023.
The department stated yesterday that this event is held in partnership with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Emirati Competitiveness Council (Nafis), and the Emirati Human Resources Development Council, with official sponsorship from Emaar Properties. This year, more than 80 real estate companies participated, offering over 400 direct and diverse job opportunities, providing clear career paths for job-seeking citizens and linking employment with qualification and professional progression within sector institutions.
The results achieved by this initiative confirm its ongoing upward trajectory in supporting qualitative Emiratisation goals, having successfully employed 647 citizens in 2023 against a target of 250, reaching 854 citizens in 2024 surpassing the target of 500, and continuing its excellence by employing 570 citizens between January and June 2025.
Omar Hamad Boushahab, Director General of the Dubai Land Department, said: “We empower Emirati sons and daughters to enter the real estate sector and advance within it on sustainable foundations, inspired by the vision and directives of our wise leadership, which has always affirmed that the citizen is a fundamental priority in development.”
