The Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Preparation Center, affiliated with the Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced the launch of the 2025-2026 cohort of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Preparation Program.

The program aims to prepare Emirati leaders capable of managing strategic and transformative projects and keeping pace with the rapid global changes across vital sectors.

The program lasts nine months and includes 30 participants representing 15 vital sectors from government, private, semi-government institutions, and entrepreneurs. They undergo practical training in cooperation with 14 leading international institutions and benefit from the expertise of 80 global experts and 20 Emirati leaders, establishing the program as a comprehensive platform for qualifying talents and refining leadership skills.

The participants were selected based on precise criteria reflecting the program’s importance in developing national competencies to become future leaders contributing effectively to supporting developmental and advancement plans in Dubai and achieving strategic goals across all sectors.

The participants will undergo a training program based on the leadership system of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and his unique leadership experiences in empowering citizens and activating their role in creating a positive and sustainable impact, in cooperation with a group of elite global universities and centers.

Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Head of the Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Preparation Center, confirmed that the program represents a pioneering platform to qualify national leaders and enable them to play an active role in leading development and future transformations, in line with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision of preparing a generation of leaders capable of anticipating the future and creating innovative solutions that enhance the UAE’s competitiveness.

He said: “This program provides a comprehensive training experience combining theoretical and practical tracks in leadership sciences. It also offers participants opportunities to acquire advanced skills and experiences through international trips, direct sessions with decision-makers, and continuous guidance and supervision from Emirati leaders and global experts, enhancing their readiness to create a positive and sustainable impact in various vital sectors.”

He added: “The Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Preparation Center continues to strengthen its position as a leading global destination for leadership development through advanced educational and training programs based on the best global practices, contributing to qualifying national leadership competencies capable of anticipating global changes and providing sustainable initiatives to face future challenges.”

The program includes organizing two international trips for participants to Japan and the United Kingdom to review the best global practices in leadership sciences, enhance their skills, interact with experts and global leaders, exchange knowledge and experiences, and develop effective communication skills with people from different backgrounds and cultures. The trips also provide leaders with the opportunity to observe successful leadership models and apply their methods and approaches in their work.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Preparation Program experience includes organizing leadership sessions for participants with decision-makers to benefit from their practical experiences and acquire knowledge and expertise that contribute to enhancing the participants’ leadership capabilities.

Each participant is accompanied by an experienced executive mentor who provides support and guidance to develop their leadership skills, works with them to set effective strategies to achieve their professional and personal goals, and enhances confidence in their abilities and hones their skills in managing teams and major projects.

Participants present a practical application on six transformative projects serving the plans of the UAE and Dubai, covering sectors such as education, health, infrastructure and cities, environment and sustainability, tourism and hospitality, and diversified economy and innovation.

The program develops eight main leadership capabilities, including strategic foresight, global citizenship, entrepreneurial thinking, commitment, value creation, diversity and inclusion, human-centeredness, resilience, and passion for knowledge, which are the main pillars of the Mohammed bin Rashid leadership system.

The participants of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Preparation Program will graduate during the “Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Forum 2026”.
