He pointed out that the hotel played a pivotal role in attracting major sports and tourism events during its first year, including the Jordanian Esports Federation Championship and the Baja Wadi Rum Rally, as well as hosting several prominent figures and celebrities, which contributed to promoting Aqaba as a distinguished tourist destination locally and regionally.

Regarding environmental sustainability, Daghlas confirmed that the hotel adopted a set of initiatives to conserve energy and water consumption, reduce waste, and promote reliance on local products, in addition to celebrating global occasions such as Earth Hour and Earth Day with awareness activities and environmentally friendly operational practices, in line with Marriott International’s Serve 360 framework aimed at achieving a long-term positive impact on the environment and society.

Daghlas explained that the hotel embodies the six pillars of wellness of the global Westin brand, which include healthy sleep, balanced nutrition, physical fitness, mental well-being, a healthy work environment, and recreational activities through integrated sports and health programs including morning and evening yoga and daily exercises.

The hotel offers a modern hospitality experience through its contemporary designs and focus on guest fitness via the health club and seasonal stays in cooperation with local sports institutions, promoting therapeutic and wellness tourism in Aqaba.
