Under the gracious directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) kicks off today. The event is organized by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and runs from September 30 to October 2, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

WETEX is considered one of the largest specialized exhibitions globally and the biggest in the region in the fields of energy, renewable energy, water, green development, sustainability, decarbonization, green mobility, green hydrogen, sustainable cities, green buildings, digital transformation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and related sectors.

3,100 companies from 68 countries will showcase their latest technologies, innovations, and projects during the exhibition. The event includes 18 international pavilions from around the world and spans an area of 95,000 square meters. This year’s WETEX edition features a green mobility zone, a health and safety zone, and a delegations area dedicated to enhancing communication and cooperation between local and international companies participating in the exhibition and major government entities in the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The exhibition will also host numerous meetings between companies, government and private institutions, and investors through the Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Government (B2G) meeting services. On the sidelines of the exhibition, DEWA organizes more than 135 specialized seminars and panel discussions with the participation of a select group of experts and specialists from around the world.

The authority also offers exhibitors the opportunity to visit its Sustainability and Innovation Center located within the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.
