According to the ministry’s statement, Al-Badour emphasized that the purpose of these surprise visits is “to see the reality as it is and to correct any deficiencies wherever they are found,” stressing the importance of supporting the Ministry of Health staff in their locations and listening directly to the challenges they face in the work environment. The minister toured several hospital departments and met with staff and visitors, listening to their observations and suggestions and directed the necessity to address any shortcomings that might affect the quality of services provided to citizens.
Al-Badour confirmed that the Ministry of Health will continue to carry out this type of surprise visits as an effective tool to enhance transparency and improve the quality of health services in various governorates. He added that this approach comes within the government’s policy led by Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan, which focuses on activating the fieldwork of ministers, visiting public service sites, listening closely to citizens’ concerns, and working to address them directly and promptly.
