The head of Slovak diplomacy stated on his Facebook account: “At the EU level, many sanctions have been imposed on Russia. The EU’s approach to what is happening in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip is an implementation of double standards. Therefore, we Europeans are losing our international credibility.”
Planar added that “Slovakia opposes any violations of international law, and countries must prevent them and show mutual respect.” He stressed that “without dialogue, no conflict can be resolved or any war ended.”
The minister wrote: “The Slovak government applies a sovereign and peaceful policy, directed at all parties. In the same way, our Prime Minister Robert Fico is acting today in China, where he honors the memory of World War II victims and holds talks with other world leaders.”
