Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, held an extensive meeting with founders and officials of several startups, small and medium enterprises incubated at the “Creativa” center in Qena Governorate. The meeting was attended by leaders from the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and South Valley University, including Ahmed El-Zaher, CEO of ITIDA; Dr. Hazem Omar, Deputy Governor of Qena; Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of Qena University; Dr. Ahmed Khattab, Director of the National Telecommunications Institute; and Engineer Mahmoud Safrata, ITIDA’s Deputy CEO for Market Development.

The entrepreneurs presented their companies’ activities in software development, e-learning, digital real estate marketing, and digital arts, alongside platforms connecting software developers in Upper Egypt with external clients and freelance job opportunities.

The minister affirmed that supporting entrepreneurship is a fundamental pillar of the state’s strategy to achieve comprehensive digital development and create quality job opportunities for youth across various governorates.
