Manama, August 16 – Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Minister of Information, congratulated the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Journalists Association on the successful electoral process and the formation of the new board. He expressed his wishes for their success in performing their duties, which will enhance the status of national journalism and its pioneering role in serving the nation and highlighting its developmental and civilizational achievements.
The Minister affirmed that Bahraini journalism enjoys generous care and continuous attention from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the esteemed King of Bahrain, may God protect and preserve him. He pointed out that the royal congratulations extended by His Majesty to the elected board members reflect His Majesty’s firm belief in the vital role played by national journalism in supporting the comprehensive renaissance and consolidating Bahrain’s position on various levels.
The Minister also noted the kind congratulations from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Chairman and board members, highlighting the continuous care and attention given by His Highness to the press and media sector in the Kingdom, considering it a key partner in documenting and showcasing national achievements and presenting Bahrain’s image in regional and international forums.
Furthermore, the Minister praised the competence and professional experience of the new board members, qualifying them to advance the association’s work in the coming phase, and expressed appreciation for the previous board’s sincere efforts that contributed to developing the association and supporting Bahraini journalism.
He confirmed the Ministry’s keenness to continue close and fruitful cooperation with the Bahraini Journalists Association to consolidate its position as a responsible national platform and enhance its mission in serving media and journalistic work.
