The United States on Monday affirmed its support for accusations made by its ambassador to France regarding insufficient efforts to combat anti-Semitism, following his summons by Paris. The U.S. State Department spokesperson Tommy Vietor stated, “We support his statements,” referring to Ambassador Charles Kushner, who is also the father-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump. He added, “Ambassador Kushner represents our government in France and is doing a great job defending our national interests through this role.”
