Artist Hani Ramzy told Youm7 regarding the ceasefire that Egypt made great efforts to stop the war on Gaza, which is a commendable effort, noting that our enemy is untrustworthy and that we must keep Palestine and its people in our eyes.

Hani Ramzy added that Gaza has many injured, martyrs, hungry people, and children who need all the support from the entire Arab world, and this must be taken into account. We must continue to provide all support because rebuilding Gaza and returning life to normal will take years and years.

Celebrations broke out in the Gaza Strip following the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, with chants of thanks to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian army for their tremendous efforts to reach a ceasefire.

Large numbers of citizens gathered in the streets of Gaza to celebrate the ceasefire and the end of the war inside the Strip. Children also took to the streets to celebrate and sing in Khan Younis city after two years of war on the Strip.

The citizens’ Takbeers (chants of ‘Allahu Akbar’) rose, and the people of Gaza chanted thanks to all mediators from Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and America for their diplomatic efforts to stop the war in Gaza.

The citizens in the streets also gave special thanks to President El-Sisi, the Egyptian army, and the Egyptian people, chanting “Long live Egypt.” One citizen said: “Many thanks to Arab Egypt for its efforts, always at the forefront, and thanks to the Egyptian government and everyone who contributed to stopping this genocide. President El-Sisi is a man of difficult stances and a man of love,” emphasizing that they were waiting for the moment of the ceasefire.

In Israel, large crowds gathered in Tel Aviv to celebrate the entry of the ceasefire into effect, waving American flags and the name of US President Donald Trump.
