Actress Nihal Anbar, member of the Actors Syndicate Council, expressed her great happiness about the convening of the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit in Egypt, and the signing by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and US President Donald Trump of the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Agreement, which includes ending the war in the Gaza Strip.

Nihal Anbar told Youm7 in an exclusive statement: “President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi played a very great role in these negotiations, and holding the summit in Sharm El-Sheikh is a very beautiful thing, as we saw part of the world leaders present, and it was an honorable event. The President’s speech was very good, and Trump praised the President’s position on this great achievement.”

She continued: “The people of Palestine broke our hearts, and we didn’t know what to do. We watched what was happening on TV feeling paralyzed. Of course, peace is the best thing, and hopefully Gaza will return to how it was. We thank the President for his great effort, and we must not forget that his refusal to allow the displacement of Palestinians was one of the important factors that created negotiations due to the lack of other solutions.”

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and US President Donald Trump signed the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Agreement, which includes ending the war in the Gaza Strip. Leaders from Qatar and Turkey also signed a document regarding the agreement between Israel and Hamas.

During the signing of a comprehensive document for the agreement between Hamas and Israel to end the war in the Gaza Strip at the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit, Trump said: “I am pleased and honored to be part of this. We are signing a document that formulates many rules, procedures, and many articles… It is a comprehensive document, and we have already signed documents in the Middle East with Israel and Hamas.” He noted that things are going very well and that the release of Israeli detainees happened on schedule according to the agreement.

Trump pointed out that work is ongoing to search for the bodies of detainees, thanking Qatar and Turkey for their efforts in supporting peace in the region.

In his speech, Trump thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his efforts in reaching the agreement to end the war, saying: “I thank President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who leads a country with a civilization extending 6,000 years… President Sisi is a great and wonderful leader.”

This summit comes in light of US President Donald Trump’s vision to achieve peace in the region and his keen pursuit to end conflicts worldwide.

Trump also praised his personal and political relationship with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, affirming that friendship and cooperation played a major role in resolving many regional and international crises.

Trump again expressed his great appreciation for President Sisi, explaining that Egypt’s choice to host the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit was no coincidence, saying to the President: “Everyone wanted to host this event, but we saw that you are the most suitable leader. Your country is wonderful, and you have been my friend for a long time…”
