The General Authority for Statistics released the international trade statistics for June 2025 and the second quarter of the same year. The June report revealed a continued growth in non-oil exports including re-exports, which rose by 22.1% compared to June 2024. National non-oil exports excluding re-exports increased by 8.4%. Chemical industry products led non-oil exports with 24.5% of the total, followed by electrical machinery and equipment at 23.3%. Electrical machinery and equipment also ranked first among imports at 30.6%. China was the Kingdom’s main trading partner, accounting for 15.5% of total exports and 27.9% of total imports in June 2025. The second quarter statistics showed a 17.8% growth in non-oil exports compared to the same quarter in 2024, with national non-oil exports rising by 5.6% and re-exported goods increasing by 46.2%.
