Dr. Tarek Saada, Head of the Media Syndicate and member of the Senate, mourned with deep sorrow the death of journalist Atef Kamel, a presenter on Egyptian television, who passed away today due to a sudden health crisis. The syndicate head described the late journalist as kind and respected by all his colleagues. Atef Kamel began his career as a journalist at Sabah El-Kheir magazine affiliated with Rose Al-Youssef Foundation, then was nominated by veteran journalist Soheir El-Etriby to work at Maspero. His first program was “If We Stop Dreaming,” which achieved great success. He also presented many programs, most notably “Good Morning Egypt,” the most famous morning show on Egyptian TV. May God have mercy on the deceased and grant patience to his family.
