The Competitions Committee of the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association decided to make changes to the venues of several upcoming matches after announcing the closure of Cairo Stadium for maintenance from August 21 until the end of the month.
Zamalek will face Modern Sport in the third round at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium, and will meet Pharco in the fourth round at the same stadium instead of Cairo Stadium.
In the fourth round, the match between ZED FC and Wadi Degla was moved to the Arab Contractors Stadium, which will serve as the alternative venue during the Cairo Stadium closure.
The fifth round will feature two matches at Al Salam Stadium; the first between National Bank and Tala’ea El Gaish, while the anticipated match between Al Ahly and Pyramids will be held on August 30 at the same stadium.
The Competitions Committee also announced that the match between Modern Sport and Haras El Hodoud will be held at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium, continuing the distribution of matches to alternative venues during the closure period.
