Egyptian football stars praised the pioneering and effective role of the Egyptian state and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in establishing peace in the Middle East, following their role in signing the peace agreement at the Sharm El-Sheikh summit to end the war in the Gaza Strip and restore stability to the region.

The football stars expressed their happiness with Egypt’s prominent role after hosting the Sharm El-Sheikh summit attended by world leaders to sign the comprehensive document to stop the war and restore stability to the Middle East.

Shawky Gharib, former head coach of the Egyptian national team, expressed pride in the great efforts led by Egypt under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, culminating in a historic agreement to ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and hosting the peace conference in Sharm El-Sheikh.

“This event and the agreement to end the war embody a true victory for the will of peace over the logic of war and violence, and cement Egypt’s pioneering role under President El-Sisi in supporting regional and international stability, reflecting Egypt’s firm belief in the right of peoples to live safely and with dignity,” Gharib said in exclusive remarks to Youm7.

He added, “This historic achievement reflects Egypt’s status and President El-Sisi’s tireless efforts to support humanitarian causes and establish security and peace in the region.”

Hazem Emam, former Zamalek star, thanked the Egyptian state and President El-Sisi for their role in stopping the war in Gaza and the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement, and for Egypt’s efforts in supporting the Palestinian cause from the very beginning.

Emam said, “The Sharm El-Sheikh conference is a pride for every Egyptian, especially since Egypt helped the people of Gaza practically, not just in words.”

He added, “Egypt always responds with great stances to support peace and provide solutions, noting that Egypt is always great and its positions are historic with all peoples.”

Ahmed Hassan, the Hawk, former Egyptian national team star, sees the Sharm El-Sheikh peace conference as a source of pride for all Egyptians and confirms Egypt’s leadership in peace.

He also thanked the Egyptian state and President El-Sisi for their role in stopping the war in Gaza and the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement, emphasizing that President El-Sisi’s stance was clear from the beginning in rejecting displacement to support the Palestinian cause from the first moment.

Mohamed Abu El-Dahab, former Al Ahly and national team star, confirmed that Egypt is the largest country in the Middle East and has an honorable role in the Sharm El-Sheikh peace summit because it is the backbone of the Arab nation, and no agreements can be made without Egypt.

Abu El-Dahab told Youm7, “We are honored and proud to be Egyptians, and the presence of all world leaders in Egypt reflects the role it plays and that Egypt’s voice is heard in the region.”

He continued, “I am proud of President El-Sisi because he stands by his word and can impose our word on anyone, no matter who they are, as we rejected displacement and were the reason for peace and stopping the war.”

The former Pharaohs star concluded that he is proud of his country, its cohesive people, and honored to have an army that protects them.

Tarik Mostafa, former Zamalek star and current coach of Al Ahly Benghazi in Libya, expressed pride in the Sharm El-Sheikh summit held to end the war on Gaza.

Mostafa said in remarks to Youm7, “The Sharm El-Sheikh summit confirmed the value of Egypt’s role in the Middle East, and the Egyptian leadership bore many burdens to reach the final moment that amazed everyone and ended the state of war.”

He added, “This summit strengthened international relations between Egypt and major world leaders, as reflected in the love and support of French President Emmanuel Macron and his happiness to receive President El-Sisi.”

Yasser Rayan, former Al Ahly star, expressed pride and honor in Egypt’s adoption and hosting of the peace conference in the Middle East under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to end the Arab conflict and restore security and stability to the region.

Rayan said in exclusive remarks, “Something to be proud of, and proud to be Egyptians. President El-Sisi hosted most world leaders, and it is great to support Palestine, something that is recognized by the Palestinians themselves.”

He added, “What the president did is very honorable for the whole world, not just us, and it will contribute to ending the war, achieving stability, improving the economic situation, and boosting tourism and trade. Trump said there are no problems in Egypt, which is proof of Egypt’s strength and greatness.”

Ahmed Naji, former Al Ahly star, expressed pride in Egypt hosting the peace agreement signing conference to restore stability to the Middle East and end the war in Gaza.

Naji said in exclusive remarks, “Hosting the peace conference is a great honor and sends a message that Egypt is great, its president is great, and the whole world gathers on your land, which is something to be proud of.”

He explained that President El-Sisi mentioned during the conference the late President Anwar Sadat and the peace agreement, noting this is the second time Egypt becomes the center of the world in peace agreements.

He added, “I feel very proud while following the conference and am extremely happy because Egypt, its president, government, and commissioners have all been praised for their competence. Egypt has always been a leader, but the world needs Egypt’s presence because it is big and has a leading role.”

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and former U.S. President Donald Trump signed the comprehensive Sharm El-Sheikh peace agreement to end the war in Gaza, while leaders from Qatar and Turkey signed a document regarding the agreement between Israel and Hamas.
