Kan Hebrew channel confirmed on Thursday that the list of Palestinian prisoners to be released as part of the ceasefire agreement in Sharm El-Sheikh will be referred to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for approval and then returned to Hamas.

Egyptian mediation efforts, with the participation of Qatar, the United States, and Turkey, succeeded in reaching an agreement on the mechanisms for implementing the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza between Hamas and Israel, following serious and marathon negotiations that resulted in a preliminary agreement to halt the war.

Hamas announced reaching an agreement to end the war on Gaza, the withdrawal of the occupation from Gaza, the entry of aid, and the exchange of prisoners, noting that this came after responsible and serious negotiations conducted by the movement and Palestinian resistance factions around President Trump’s proposal in Sharm El-Sheikh, aiming to stop the extermination war on the Palestinian people and the withdrawal of the occupation from the Gaza Strip.

Hamas expressed high appreciation for the efforts of the mediators in Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, and also praised the efforts of US President Donald Trump seeking to end the war completely and the full withdrawal of the occupation from Gaza.

In its statement, Hamas called on President Donald Trump, the guarantor countries of the agreement, and various Arab, Islamic, and international parties to obligate the Israeli occupation government to fully implement the agreement’s entitlements and not allow it to renege or delay the application of what was agreed upon.
