Dr. Hazem Omar, Deputy Governor of Qena, conducted an extensive field tour today in the Al-Waqf center and city, covering several service and health facilities. This was in line with directives from Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, Governor of Qena, to monitor the level of services provided to citizens on the ground.

The tour began with an inspection of the service complex in Al-Marashda village, where he followed up on work progress and ensured the quality of services provided to citizens. He also listened to residents’ complaints, instructing officials to quickly study them and find urgent solutions to satisfy the citizens.

In the health sector, the Deputy Governor inspected the Family Health Unit in Al-Marashda Al-Orbi village, then reviewed the service level inside Al-Waqf Central Hospital by visiting the reception, dialysis, internal medicine, pediatrics, operations, and physical therapy departments, in addition to the State-funded pharmacy and the external pharmacy.

He ordered the rapid replenishment of missing medicines in the dialysis department and ensured the regular provision of meals to patients. He also assigned a doctor to monitor the department daily to improve the efficiency of medical services.

Omar also followed up on the work progress at the technology center in Al-Waqf city, where he met with several citizens and listened to their demands. He instructed the swift completion of delayed fattening report files and the taking of legal measures against those defaulting on payments, whether through criminal reports or administrative seizure, emphasizing the cancellation of contracts with those who do not comply with contract terms.
