42 Jordanian companies from various industrial and service sectors are participating in the 62nd edition of the Damascus International Fair, aiming to explore investment and trade opportunities in the Syrian market and to enhance commercial and investment cooperation with Syria.

Saadou added: We aspire to be a pivotal part of the financial infrastructure for trade exchange with Syria and other regional countries, through an integrated strategy based on experience and the bank’s regional expansion in several countries.

Meanwhile, the CEO of the National Cable and Wire Manufacturing Company (KIPCO), Engineer Naeem Al-Hawari, confirmed that this participation represents a strategic return to the Syrian market after their last participation in 2009.

Al-Hawari pointed out that this participation opens doors for cooperation with new partners to meet the future needs of both countries and increase investment opportunities. He noted that the impressive organization of the fair and the large public turnout reflect the recovery of economic life in Syria and send positive messages about growing regional cooperation opportunities.

Sales manager at Delta Industrial Company, specialized in packaging powdered milk, butter, and ghee, explained that the company aims to offer its products at competitive prices and high quality to be accessible to Syrian consumers, confirming the company’s readiness to expand its business inside Syria and support the food sector.

Salama Al-Louzi, Public Relations and Media Officer at the Jordan Export House, the entity managing the Jordanian pavilion at the Damascus International Fair, stated that the goal of this participation is to strengthen Jordan’s economic presence in the Syrian market, open new horizons for companies to increase their exports, and highlight the quality and competitiveness of Jordanian products in various fields, notably food, chemical, cosmetic, plastic, packaging industries, as well as banking, medical services, and information technology.

Jordan’s broad participation in the Damascus International Fair is considered a pivotal platform to attract investments and build strategic partnerships, integrating Jordanian and Syrian visions towards a stable and prosperous economic future serving the peoples of the region. It also reflects government efforts to facilitate trade and investment movement.
