Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Ahmed Radwan, Head of the Central Administration of the Al-Azhar Luxor Region, held an extensive meeting with the region’s leadership to follow up on preparations for the new academic year 2025/2026. The meeting focused on the latest technical and administrative preparations in various Al-Azhar institutes. Participants included Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Tayeb Ahmed Mahmoud, General Director of the region, Sheikh Ahmed Khalidi, Director of Secondary Education, and several directors of educational administrations and institutes.

During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah Saleh emphasized the importance of providing an attractive and safe educational environment, completing maintenance and equipment works, and ensuring the readiness of classrooms, seats, and educational tools, following the directives of Sheikh Ayman Abdelghani, Head of the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector.

Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Tayeb explained that the region works around the clock to secure a disciplined start to the academic year, affirming that the new year will be more organized thanks to the efforts of all workers in the institutes and educational administrations. Daily follow-ups on the execution status of preparations are ongoing.

Sheikh Ahmed Khalidi confirmed that the secondary education sector is fully prepared with its staff, stressing the importance of proper teacher distribution, monitoring study schedules, and preparing students psychologically and academically from day one, with full commitment to the curriculum and study timings.

At the end of the meeting, the Head of the Central Administration of the Al-Azhar Luxor Region prayed for a successful year full of achievement and excellence for all students, praising the spirit of cooperation and diligence shown by everyone during the preparations.

Additionally, the Al-Azhar Luxor Region organized a training program for Al-Azhar students in the field of tourism awareness, in cooperation with Al-Azhar, Luxor Governorate, the Cultural Tourism Committee in Cairo, and the Cultural Tourism Marketing Association in Luxor. The program aims to develop tourism culture and raise awareness of the importance of tourism in supporting the national economy and protecting cultural identity.
