The University of Bahrain for Technology (UTB) organized its annual forum for staff in an atmosphere full of cooperation and belonging, aiming to enhance communication among the university members. The event reviewed the most prominent achievements during the past academic year and discussed the vision and future plans, within its ongoing commitment to academic and administrative excellence and establishing a work environment that fosters creativity and innovation.

The forum began with an introductory video showcasing the university’s journey and key milestones over the past year, highlighting its academic and research achievements, initiatives supporting the development of higher education in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as its contribution to community service and the development of national competencies.

In his opening speech, the university president, Dr. Hassan Ali Al-Mulla, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of all university staff, praising their dedication and commitment to supporting UTB’s path towards excellence and leadership.

Dr. Al-Mulla said: “We are proud of the qualitative achievements the university has made thanks to dedication and teamwork, and we look forward to a new phase of development and innovation that contributes to enhancing UTB’s position as a leading educational institution in the region and a top destination for applied education linked to labor market needs.”

The forum included a series of interactive programs, featuring a presentation of the university’s performance highlights and academic results during the past year, followed by a review of the “UTB Future Roadmap” focusing on developmental plans and upcoming projects in education, digital transformation, scientific research, and innovation, in line with Bahrain Vision 2030 and sustainable development goals.

The forum also included team-building activities aimed at enhancing cooperative work among various departments and encouraged a positive work environment that supports creativity and initiative.

The events concluded with an open discussion session that allowed participants to exchange opinions and suggestions on developing the university work environment and enhancing institutional performance, amid positive atmospheres reflecting the spirit of the UTB community as one family.

Participants affirmed that the annual forum served as an inspiring platform to renew motivation and shared commitment to continue the university’s journey towards achieving its vision and mission in providing advanced quality education that contributes to preparing and qualifying national competencies for the local and regional labor markets.
